What Going Out is
Going Out is a local discovery app for events, festivals, Christmas markets, castles, gardens, and restaurants, focused on Europe and the American military community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Free preview and Going Out Premium
Going Out Premium: 3.99 USD per month (prices may vary by country and currency). Auto-renewing subscription that removes ads and unlocks continued use of the app.
Subscription billing and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you downloaded the app. KIBU does not bill you directly and never sees your payment card details.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- A billing grace period may apply after a failed payment. Access continues while the store retries the charge.
- To cancel on iOS: Settings · your Apple Account · Subscriptions · Going Out · Cancel Subscription.
- To cancel on Android: Play Store · your profile icon · Payments and subscriptions · Subscriptions · Going Out · Cancel.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store refund policies. KIBU cannot issue card refunds directly. Contact [email protected] and we will help direct you to the right store refund flow.
License
KIBU grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Going Out for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the app or its content
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the app or its backend
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Location permission
Going Out requests access to your device location to show you nearby places and events. You can revoke location permission in your device settings. Without location access, proximity sorting and the NEAR YOU panel will not function.
Place data accuracy
Venue information, event details, opening hours, and dates are sourced from third-party providers including Google Places and publicly available information. This data can change without notice. KIBU does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Always verify hours, access, and conditions before traveling. Travel to any location suggested by the app is at your own risk.
Third-party links
Going Out links to Wikipedia and Google Maps for destinations. These are third-party services with their own terms and privacy policies. KIBU is not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
Going Out is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that place information will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KIBU Global Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Going Out, including but not limited to damages arising from visiting any location suggested by the app.
Termination
KIBU may suspend or terminate your access to Going Out at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Canceling your subscription does not delete these terms; any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
Children
Going Out is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13.
Apple third-party beneficiary
If you downloaded Going Out from the Apple App Store, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple is not responsible for Going Out or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for it. In the event of any failure of Going Out to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to Going Out.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. For users in the EU, mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law are not affected by this choice of law.
DSA trader registration
KIBU Global Ventures LLC is registered as a trader for EU distribution. Contact information is published via the Apple App Store and Google Play store listings.
